「切記，不上大學不好找工作，上了大學不一定就好找工作！」 這是一句現實卻懇切的提醒。唸大學的目的為何？答案很簡單：學到一技之長！若不能學到一技之長，既浪費金錢又浪費青春。除了學校科系的因素之外，自己是否「積極主動學習」也是關鍵。
“Remember, it’s hard to find a job without college, but college doesn’t guarantee a job either!” This is a proactive learning is the key.
選科系要慎重。先多揣摩自己的性向，選個自己有興趣的科系。假如不知道自己的興趣是甚麼，可以看看自己過往做哪些事最有成就感，相關的行業就值得參考。如果你在選擇高職科系時已經確定了興趣，升學時請選擇與目前科別高度相關的領域，延續所學，讓技能更精進。

在人生求學生涯中，高職是踏入專業學習的第一階段。而在踏入職場前，為充實專業技能、有系統地學習進階理論，科技大學就成了最佳殿堂。但是在科大階段，應該如何規劃四年的學涯生活呢？我個人的建議如下：

當然，在科大時期可以交往異性，學習兩性互動。但是，這就如同玩線上遊戲一般，「可以玩味，卻不要沉迷」，以免影響學業。最後，建議以健康、正向、積極的態度，完成你的科大生涯。

大文豪海明威說：「年輕時住過巴黎，它會一生跟著你，有如一場可帶走的盛宴。」這句話用來形容學習生涯，十分適當。學校是培養「求知心」、「學習習慣」與「思考能力」的地方。
“Paris is a moveable feast.” School is a place to cultivate curiosity, habits, and thinking skills.
終生學習並非只是一句口號，它必須具備三項要素：有目標、有紀律、有計畫。專心「聽」比說更重要，並且要把聽到的資訊內部消化（Internalized）。
Lifelong learning requires goals, discipline, and a plan. Listening attentively is key.
正因為身處弘光這所有潛力的學校，它賦予了無限的可能性。我想，對學校的認同與對自己的認同，應該就是身為弘光人的執著吧！一顆執著的心，人生的道路就有多寬。
